Compatibility

Please take careful note of the model and version of the APW12 power supply you are using, as there are several variants available.

Currently, the primary APW12 power supply models include APW121215, APW121417 and APW12A. These power supplies are not interchangeable and the main distinctions are outlined below:

APW121215: This power supply is extensively used presently particularly with most of the 19 series models. The numeric suffix "1215" in APW12 denotes the output voltage range of 12-15V. Currently, there are multiple versions available (designated by letters a through f) with the following compatibility specifications:

a. APW121215 versions a/b/c are cross-compatible (without voltage feedback).
b. APW121215 versions d/e/f can be used interchangeably (with voltage feedback)
c. While APW121215 versions d/e/f can replace versions a/b/c by firmware upgrade, versions a/b/c cannot replace versions d/e/f.

APW121417: The APW12 power supply with the suffix "1417" indicates an output voltage range of 14-17V. This power supply is currently utilized in L7 and some S19 mining machines. There are two versions available, designated as a and b. Version b is compatible with version a, while version a is not compatible with version b.

APW12A: This power supply is designed for 277V input. It is intended for use in the United States and other regions where the standard voltage is 277V. The latest version available is APW1215g.
